Action queries cause On Got Focus errors using query wizard

If I have an existing action query (make table, append,
etc.) in my database, and I try to create a new query
with the query wizard, I get the following error
message: " The expression On Got Focus you entered as
the event property setting produced the following error:
The text you entered isn't an item in the list." This
error only occurs when I have an existing ACTION query.
Simple queries do not cause the error.

I can continue working in access, but my mouse stays as
an hour glass until I close access.

Does anyone know if this is a known bug for which a patch
is available, or know why this error occurs? Thanks, Jeff

This is apparently a bug. When you open the query wizard
with an action query highlighted, it places the name of
the action query in the list of Tables/Queries to choose
from. Since you cannnot run a query using an action
query, access pops an error. This issue is new to Access
2002. Jeff.
