I frequently get the message:

"ACTION CANCELED

Internet Explorer was unable to li
requested. The page might be tem"

I don't know what it means, what its cause, or how to get
rid of the message which takes up about 6 square inches on
the upper right of my screen.

Thanks,,Susansi

With your anti-virus application disabled and all other running processes
closed, go to Windows Update to install the latest patches. Reboot when
directed to do so.

If no joy, check your system for "hijackware".

HijackThis (http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/files/hijackthis.zip) is the
preferred tool to use these days. It will help to both identify and remove
any hijackware/spyware. **Post your files to
http://forums.spywareinfo.com/, not here.**

Also update your virus definitions and then run a full system scan. From
now on, do both daily.
