Action buttons

Dear all,

I am wanting to set up an opening screen in which has action buttons for
going to data entry forms, or for running queries, generating reports. How
do I do this?

Create an unbound form in design fiew.
Make sure the toolbox is visible.
Make sure the Wizards button is depressed.
Drag a command button onto the form.
The wizard starts and offers option for opening forms,
reports etc.
Follow the instructions.

For a startup form, go to Tools > Startup and select your
opening form from the Display Form/Page.

Caution: Backup your database and be careful when using
the other options on this dialog box. I've seen a lot of
messages on this board about lost menus and locked up
databases.
