act and outlook and treo 600

I bought a treo 600 to be more efficient, but i use act
and can't get the contacts into my Treo, so i tried to get
act contacts into my outlook, but only a few were listed
and I had to click on each one to get in directory, which
did not sync with my treo anyway- help
