Any reason I cannot use my rescue disk to create an image of my new
Vista install?

Boot up rescue disk , backup to external USB? Thanks.

According to some people here, it won't restore successfully. I have
noticed that the latest v9.1 Workstation update adds Vista support.

If you are talking about Home edition, upgrade to v10 for Vista
compatibility.

Get the latest update for TrueImage Workstation 9 and make a new bootable CD
before you do.

The update came out late last week (TrueImageWorkstation9.1.3886_s_en).

It is Vista compatible now!

so my 9 month old ver 9 home is a paperweight. Thanks MS and Acronis!

No, you didn't SAY you had 9.0 HOME. A slight drop on your part.

The update is for ver 9 WORKSTATION. Different products.

You version has been replaced by TrueImage HOME 10.0
