acrobat reader?

hi,

does any1 know wheere i could download acrobat reader? as when i open a pdf
i get an error. i thinn my pdf reader is a little old.

i cant find a simple reader? they are all 27mb!!

You could try Foxit reader (www.foxitsoftware.com), about 2mb, doesn't need
installing (runs stand alone) and its free. Only drawback is it is still in
it's infantcy & is developing at a very fast pace, eg: frequent updates but at
2mb that's not a problem.

Try www.adobe.com The reader should be available to download from there.

Just checked, and my version 7 folder is over 61 Mby. 61 Mby is chump
change
in an era of multi-hundred-GBy disks. If you're on dialup and the download
time
is a problem, start it when you go to bed.

....and good luck that there are no disconnects by the ISP.
 
This is the problem with dial up. I know here in the UK when i was on dial
up the ISP disconnected me every 2 hours, so there was no way i could get
large downloads down in the conventional way. I found a way around it though
by using a download manager. However, after a while downloads were taking so
long that, out of sheer frustration, i subscribed to broadband.
