Acrobat Pro 6.0 and IE 6.0.29 Hang

Whenever I attempt to access a pdf the IE hangs and closes after a bit. I
have uninstalled and reinstalled Acrobat and the same thing happens again and
again. It never used to do this but now I am basically hamstrung as a lot of
docs on the web are pdf and when I try to open them it chokes and closes.
 
I had the same problem. Did some research on the net and finally fond a
solution that worked. All I had to do was empty the TEMP folder. If you are
not sure where it is then click Start>Run and type %temp% and click OK. This
will open the TEMP folder. Delete everything in this folder(but not the
folder itself). Close all programs before doing this because a running
program may be using something in that folder. Yes, it's safe to delete all
of these files. If in doubt, do some furter research to put your mind at
ease.
