Does Microsoft allow you to purchase the XP Home Edition
CD for preinstalled desktop ? If so can you provide the
link ?
 
Hi,

If you have a OEM built computer such as a HP, IBM, Dell, etc. and Windows
XP Home came pre-installed you'll have to contact your computer manufacturer
about getting the CD.

You can buy XP Home from any retail store. If you want a price break,
call your PC manufacturer and see what they say.
