Not sure which one to post in so I am asking for help here as well.

I use WinXpPro for making audio music demos.

People in an audio forum suggested I remove ACPI and change WinXpPro
to Standard PC to put my soundcard on its own IRQ. Did that.
Now I am told it doesn't matter if WinXpPro shares IRQs.

How can I get reinstall ACPI w/o reinstalling the entire WinXpPro?

Thanks Brewer

Well, someone gave you some bad advice. The only way
to return to ACPI is to reformat your drive and reinstall
Windows XP.
