Hi,
Just wondering,
We are trying to reduce the number of images for our organization (500+ employees)
At this time, we have 3 types of images (HAL):
- Standard PC
- Advanced Configuration and Power Interface (ACPI) PC
- ACPI Uniprocessor PC
Is it possible to safely take a regular ACPI image, sysprep it and
convert it to the ACPI Uniprocessor HAL ?
I have seen some KB articles about replacing the hal.dll before
the PC boots up...
Does anybody have experience doing this ?
If so, could you share ?
Thanks
