I purchased an Acomdata external 60 GB drive last year and started
experiencing problems several months ago which I reported via emails
to Acomdata on their website. They have not responded! Since the
initial post, the drive appears to have crashed. My computer is a Dell
4300. How should one get their attention?

Hello, Jack:

I really think you should telephone or "snail-mail" AcomData
<http://www.acomdata.com>, if the company continues to ignore
your e-mails. Get one of those prepaid "phone cards," to keep
long-distance charges to a minimum.

AcomData
3410 Pomona Blvd.
Pomona, CA 91768
Phone: (909) 348-0680
Fax: (909) 598-8663

Good luck!

Cordially,

I emailed Acomdata's Customer Support and have finally heard from
their Tech Support and supplied with a RMA Number, so I believe I have
finally succeeded!

Jack

Acomdata does not respond to my email either, despite three tries over
three weeks, and the phone number John gives above just rings and
rings, no answer. (The 909-348-0680 number). That is the phone number
they gave me at the retailer where I bought my now-dead drive as
well, but does not seem to be current.

A yellow pages site gave me the same address (3410 Pomona Blvd) but a
different #: (909) 613-9488, but when I call that it says
disconnected.

My drive was just dead as a doornail one morning when I came in. When
I turn it on, nothing spins, nothing lights up, just the barest
visible flicker in the LED on the front when the switch is flipped,
that's all. The drive is not even three months old.

I guess I will try faxing them, if the fax number works? I don't want
to just ship the dead drive off to them.
