Hi,

Perhaps Adobe can, but in the meantime try reinstalling it.

Acrobat is often a RAM hog, so I suggest closing other programs before
executing Acrobat. Adding extra RAM and defragging may help too.

If the file is local to your PC, then no, I can't. If the file is a
hyperlink that goes over the internet, then Acrobat may seem to freeze until
it downloads all, which can take a while depending on your connection speed
and the file size. This sort of usage also depends on having the right
plug-in for your browser, not just a good version of Acrobat on your PC.

Have you tried several PDF files, locla to your PC? If only one file is a
problem, then that file could be corrupt; it does happen to files. If all
PDF files fail to open, then the Acrobat Reader installed on your PC is
defective in some way. If the latter is the case, then remove the current
Acrobat Reader (all versions, if you have more than one), and download the
latest version. Turn off all other applcations, then insall it. This will
also install plug-ins for the common web broswers.

The good news is that I have never heard of any adverse interactions between
other programs and Acrobat Reader. Is is one of those things that always
seems to work, once instaled correctly.
