If use has a predefined time period to access the
Internet, what happens when the user is still accessing
the Internet when his time restriction kicks in? Will his
connection be terminated with a warning message anouncing
to the user that his restriction will start in 15 minutes,
10 minutes, 5 minutes etc... untill the time restriction
actually kick?
Thanks in advance for any and all thoughts, pointers in
the right directions, and help.

I'm confused here. The subject of your post is "ACL for Windows 2000
Server". ACL stands for Access Control List, which is a list of accounts
and their permissions on an object, and has nothing whatsoever to do
with restricting Internet access to certain times of the day. Also,
unless I'm missing something, there is nothing in Windows 2000 or
Windows Server 2003 or XP for that matter that allows you to specify
Internet access by time.

Can you clarify what exactly you're referring to here?

You will have to test that out. I imagine you are using a router or firewall
device to do such as I don't know of a way to do that via Group Policy etc
unless you are using the AT command and netsh or such.. --- Steve
