Have you tried actually sending/receiving mail? The "test account" button
often does not give as useful an error message as actually doing a
send/receive. Also, has SP-1 (or higher) of Office XP been applied? There
was a problem in the initial release that caused connection problems to
certain ISPs.

I have entered the exact same information for the othe email address as i
did for office 2000 and it (still) works with that
