Thank you for your time:

I want to ask question outside of Access but this important for this news
group

Every one see the Icon of the MDB file is as key and if you want to change
this Icon you must make shortcut and change the Icon of Shortcut.. Ok YOU
Can’t Change MDB ICON IT self ….Ok

Is there any one here in this news group know how to change the Access ICON
For The Data base not the Shortcut.

Thank you,

There can only be one icon associated with any registered file extension,
because the details are stored in the registry. If what you're trying to do
is change the icon for just one MDB file, but not the others, it can't be
done.

On the other hand, if you're trying to change the icon for all MDB files,
you can change the icon where you change the file associations. I think it
may vary from OS to OS, but if you go into File Explorer and look under
Tools | Folder Options, you should be able to find where you set the
association for each file extension. Under Advanced options, you should be
given the ability to change the icon.

If you're talking about the icon you see in explorer, Doug gave you an
answer.

If you are talking about the icon you see in the title bar when a database
is open, you can set an icon (and replace the "Microsoft Access" title with
your own title) for the database by going to Tools/Startup.
