Hello everyone,

So, for the life of me I cannot find in my research the solution to my
problem. What I did find and I hope it's not true (KB841615), that I have
to turn on calendar logging to get accountability for who creates objects on
departmental calendars located in Public Folders? Is this correct? I would
assume, all you would have to do is get properties of any object in a
calendar that is located in public folders to see who is responsible for
those objects. I just want to see who created them initially. Is there a
quick way to do this?

Thank you
Alex Anderson

Hello Everyone,

Never mind, I found the solution. Boy, Microsoft makes it sure
difficult to find out who sent things in calendar and search their help.
Probably because they have other priorities like Security!

Thanks anyways.

So, being the generous usenet user that you are, care to share your findings
rather than post a rant about Microsoft and actually help your fellow
readers?

Milly,

I'm sure Bill and his buddy Ballmer would agree. Sure, more than happy
to share my findings. I'm using Outlook 2003, click on your calendar, click
view, click arrange by, click current view, click By Category, then right
click on where it says, Subject, location Start, End etc, and click
Customize Current view. Click on Fields, then from the drop down box
"Select Available fields from:" and choose "All Mail Fields" then select the
"From" field under "Available Fields" then click OK until you back all the
way out. Then you will see who created and sent what. Now, I've searched
high low (Microsoft Help and TechNet) and there was nothing that I could
find that told those steps, I just stumbled and found my way.

Thank you
