I have Win XP SP2. I have an account called computer2 which has
administrator rights (I double-check this by going to the Control Panel and
picking User Accounts - the phrase "Computer administrator" is right under
the computer2 account.) But when I log in as computer2, there's a program
that won't run correctly. But it WILL run correctly when I log in as
administrator. It's probably not important what the program is, but it's
called Talking Typer. I've asked its manufacturer why certain commands in
Talking Typer don't work right, and they said it's because you have to be
logged in as an account that has administrator rights. I tell them that I'm
logged in as computer2, and computer 2 has administrator rights. They don't
have any answer for this, so I thought I'd check here. Are there any
circumstances under which an account with administrator rights doesn't have
FULL administrator rights? Or is there any other explanation for this?
Thanks.
