account users

I just install XP Home on (1) of my computers. I followed the set-up wizzard
and it set up (3) user accounts for my family. I do not want user accounts
at this time. I want it like our lap top where there are no user accounts.
You turn it on, and there is the desktop. How can I fix this problem?

The default setup IS three accounts - Administrator (do NOT use this
account on a day-to-day basis), Default User and Owner or Yourself.
I'm not 100% sure of the procedure, but here goes. (No doubt someone
more knowledgeable will correct my errors if there are any!)
Make sure you are logged on as an administrator, then go to Start-Run
and type in "control userpasswords2" (without the quotes). Select "Users
do not have to provide a username and password", and then set the
account to start up in. As before, do NOT use the built-in Administrator
account for daily use.

I thought it was more simple than that. I just go to Start then control
panel then click on user accounts....from there you can change anything you
want. I used to have 4 user accounts then I got mad and deleted them all but
two. Hope this makes it eaiser.
