Probably something in the password, or related information you've "saved" is
incorrect. Uncheck it, redefine it and try again.

I get the same. If i set up the passwords it all works fine unil i rum the
program again, then they've gone again.

This is for people that are having trouble with their passwords not being
saved. It took me a week before I found a fix. My problem was a corrupted
password in my original email account. To find out if your ID and password
are corrupted, this is what you do: create another user account in the
control panel, and then sign in with that new user account and open up your
Windows Mail. Go through all the steps to set up your email's ID and
passwords. When you got every thing set up send yourself an email, if it send
and receives without the error messages, it means your origanl user account
is corrupted. To correct this isn't that easy, I will give you an internet
address that will walk you through it.

Mine works OK if I open WinMail as administrator. You have to right click to
get this. Everything is fine then. It's still the same account so mine sounds
more like an access problem, don't you think?

If you have to type in your passwords every time you open the mail program,
you more than likey have a corrupted user account. Try the test of setting up
another user account and signing in the new account, set up your email and
see if you have to enter in passwords all the time.

Or registry key access.

Could be interference by something running in the background also.
