Account is locked out

Some of my Windows 2000 servers user accounts always locked out by itself
out of the sudden. I also noticed that this only happened in servers with
internet IP address.

Hence, the lock-out feature is behaving as designed. At this point you'll
want to consider investing in a firewall or reviewing the security in
general. Think about it, the one account that won't lock is the
administrator. At the very least, even an untalented hacker knows which
account the admin is by now.
