Account added by one user is not visible to other users

Hello,
We converted ACT! contacts to BCM for a customer and they are all up and
running. Everyone can see all the converted contacts. However, a user added
a new contact, and the other users are not able to see it. What might cause
this problem?
 
Make sure everyone's status is set to "online" not "offline". it's easy to
overlook that.
 
Thank you. I will check your suggestions and let you know what worked. I'm
pretty sure the database is already shared.
