My ipod had taken over 10 mins to load up and was still not finished, when I
went to look at it and why it was not working and crashing my pc (as it never
takes THAT long) I accidentally unplugged it. All of my usb's now dont work
appart from the keyboard and I cant get itunes to recognise the ipod. it is
not even charging from the USB port!! ipod itself working perfectly.
Please help I use the flash disc so often I need the USB's to work =(.
I have tried all of apples advice, ie reset restore etc but still no joy.
Even tried device manager and still no luck
Has this happened to anypne before and how do i fix it?
=( clueless

Think about what you wrote: iPod is working fie, but your computer
isn't. Given that, it's logical that resetting iPod will NOT help
your problem, as indeed it didn't.

Unless I'm totally misreading you, you don't have an iPod problem,
you have a computer problem.

Try shutting down. Remove the battery pack (if it's a notebook
computer). Remove all USB devices. After a one-minute wait, re-
install battery pack (if applicable) and power up. Attach one USB
device. Does it work?

Go into Device Manager (Windows+Break key, Hardware tab, Device
Manager button) and look for anything with red X or yellow triangle.
Right-click and copy _exact_ information.

Please be as specific as possible in reporting what happens; "doesn't
work" tells us very little.
