accidental games detetion

Hi, I'm glad to read I'm not the only one that deletes things. I recently
upgraded from windows XP to vista, which I did myself, Gold star. My memory
was full so I set about deleting unwanted or unused things, I asked help
first. Unfortunately I deleted my games, I followed answers to previous
queries, but it's not working it says dil. is missing, something else I guess
I deleted, definately dunces corner.
can anyone help, I don't use the games much, but like everything else, I
like to know their there.

If I translated all of that correctly...

- You have Windows Vista now. Windows Vista Home Basic? Windows Vista Home
Premium? Windows Vista Business? Windows Vista Ultimate?

- You want to install/utilize the games.

Gives these instructions:

1. Click the Start button.
2. Click Control Panel.
3. Click Programs and Features
4. Click the "Turn Windows features on or off" option.
5. Click the box by Games.
6. Click OK

Hopefully you will not only be able to install your games now - but perhaps
have learned how to use a basic web search to better find what you need in
the future - saving yourself time and perhaps learning all sorts of things
you thought you would never be able to find out.

You mean, I assume, that your *disk space* was full. "Memory" is RAM,
and a very different thing from disk space.

Shenan Stanley has already answered your question, but let me add the
following:

If you have so little disk space that it gets full and you need to
delete things, whatever you do to save some disk space will just be a
stopgap measure. You can save some now, but very soon you will be very
short again. The real solution to your problem is to buy a larger disk
drive or a second one. Fortunately they are very inexpensive now.
