Accessing yahoo mail causes an Explorer error making window closer...

What do i need to do or where can i download a path to fix
my explorer. My problem is that when i try to access my
yahoo mail or i open my junk mail folder in my hotmail
account, an error window pops up and says that my ieplorer
has caused an error in (unknown) and will now close. Whats
going on??
Please help.
Ps. I also downloaded that recent path from microsoft for
some error in i.explorer but no difference.

First eliminate any scumware.

I did all what was said and it still appears with:

Iexplore has caused and error in <unknown>
Iexplore will now close.

If you continue to experiance problems,
try restarting your computer.

I'm on Win ME this seems to only occur when accessing
online accounts. I've also got the new IE version
6.0.2800.1106.

Any more help would be greatly appreciated as i have piles
of yahoo mail building up.

Symptoms
After you install the Yahoo! Companion browser toolbar, you may be unable to
remove it or hide it. You may be unable to hide the toolbar when you click
Toolbars on the View menu. There may be no entry for Yahoo in Add/Remove
Programs.
Resolution
To remove the Yahoo! Companion browser toolbar, follow these steps:
Start Microsoft Internet Explorer.
On the Yahoo! Companion browser toolbar, click the Edit button (it appears
as a pencil), and then click Remove Yahoo! Companion on the shortcut menu
that appears.

NOTE: If you cannot see the Edit button, expand the Yahoo! Companion
toolbar.
You receive the following message:
Uninstalling will remove Yahoo! Companion from your browser.
Do you still want to remove Yahoo! Companion?
Click Yes.
You receive the following message:
Yahoo! Companion has been uninstalled. Please restart your browser.
Click OK.
Quit Internet Explorer, and then restart it.

Well i've completely removed all yahoo components, and
removed my internet explorer 6 back to the one which came
with Win ME, when i try and access the yahoo mail 'site'
it all goes back to that error message and current window
shutdown. But the problem also happens when im in
hotmail.com i can check my inbox mail all is working fine,
but when i click on the junkmail folder link or anyother
link the error pops up...again!
