accessing websites

I have a problem accessing my computer on start up i.e. after I had loaded the soft ware for a Trust 120 spacec@m, my computer would not start properly, i.e it would go as far as the desk tops but it would hang on the task bar and would't load any further. The camera would work ok however I could not get accesess to anything on my computer.I could't get into any web sites no matter how many I tried. To enable my computer to work properly I had to restore it to an earlier setting and take off the web cam soft ware, it then would work properly, i.e. without the web cam and it's soft ware. I have tried loading the soft ware for the web cam many times with the same results. I have contacted the technical people and they have replied. However, the website they have referred me to,WWW.MICROSOFT.COM/UK/SUPPORT WHEN PUT IN GIVES ME THE WEBSITE WWW.SIRSEARCH.COM. Can anyone out there help me on these problems. I am a novice when it comes to computers so any help or advice would be appreciated. I am using an E-machine 370 using Windows XP Home Editio

Offhand, bill, this seems like it might be some spyware.
