Hi LMI,
you could make a copy of this PST file and open this copy in your Outlook.
"File/Open/Personal Folder (PST)"
Be sure that his Outlook is closed, because you can copy his PST file only
if his Outlook is closed.
you don't need to copy the pst file, just open it in Outlook via File
Open.
But, why archive in pst files. It's horror! Here you see a problem on
this issue. It difficult for you to open it, the other user should not
have it opened in his Outlook. And after opening this pst file, you
need to find your way in his folder structure.
And you have more users to go...
And presume the users have the same email achived in their pst file.
I'm affraid they even have more than one pst file per person..
We stopped using pst files, we now use mailtofile: just archive email
in the folder on the file server. Just like you do with your
Worddocuments. You only have one folder structure, every email can be
archived only once, all users (having access to the subfolder) can
open the email.
Good luck with your pst files...
