accessing urls

unable to access yahoo US. yahoo europe is ok. not
able access local school website. have set and reset
internet options. not running a firewall My internet
server is wireless high speed. this problem has
plagued me for six monthes and it was there when i had
modem connection also. yahoo has no answers
ANY HELP WITH THIS PROBLEM WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

Questions asked here, answered here :-)

Search for a file (may be hidden) called "HOSTS" or "hosts",
(no quotes - no file extension).
If found rename to: "NOHOSTS" or "nohosts", no quotations, no
file extension.
