Hi,

I have a Windows 2000 Server as a Firewall for the
company with Terminal Services installed. This server has
a public IP and a Private IP. I can access this server
fine from home using its Public IP. The rest of the
computers and servers on the network have private
addresses.

I would like to add a Terminal Server inside the network
with a private address. How can I access that server from
home? Thanks

Cool, that's an answer to a question I always wanted
answered! But what I meant to ask is, do I have to use
VPN to access a Terminal Server with a private IP address
inside a company? Thanks

No, once port 3389 is open and pointing to the server on the private network you'll be able to address it with the Remote Desktop Client using the firewall's Public IP Address. If you wish to be able to access both of these machines using Remote Desktop w/o VPN then you need to do one of the following

MAp the second TS to another Public IP Address
Connect using a port other than 338
Use an RDP Gateway to rout packets to the correct desitnation

Check out WTSGateway if this is what you have in mind

Thanks a lot guys. I appreciate all your help. I will be
experimenting for a few days with these suggestions.
