Help! Next to an installation of another operating system in a partition of
my hd, I was no more able to access to windows.
Now I only want to recover my files and save them on my external hard drive.
In order to do this I erased the other operating system and reinstall there
my win Xp. Although I discovered that from this part I cannot see the first
partition of the disc with the datas to save.
I think this is because both the partition are primary ntfs.
So what can I do ?
I'm really desperate....

Thank you All
Roberto

Sounds like corrupted partition table. Was it Linux as "another operating
system"? Boot into Recovery console, run *map*, chkdsk, put the HDD into
another computer etc. Google something as "data recovery tools".
