Accessing secure site

I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. I have tried and tried to enter the secure website at work from home. All of the security settings are supposedly correct and I have SP1 and 6.0. Some secure sites I CAN access. Mine comes up Cannot Find Page. I know it's right because I'm using a link emails to me from tech support at work.

HI Frances, see if any of this helps you

In Internet Explorer -
1. Tools > Internet Options > Advanced
2. Scroll down to the Security Settings.
3. Make sure that the two boxes are checked that say
"Enable SSL 2" or "Enable SSL 3".
Try your secure sites.

Another thing you can try is:
Go to start/run
Type in: regsvr32 softpub.dll
