Accessing Private Appointments in a Shared Calendar in Outlook 200

While experimenting with a shared calendar, I have set up several
appointments which became marked as private. I can not get back into the
appointment to delete it. What settings am I missing?

Do you have permission to see private items and do you have delete
permissions on that calendar?
