Once I have web access can I get to Outlook to check my e-
mail when traveling? Do I need both Outlook and Outlook
Express to do this? I've check two manuals and spent way
too much time searching Microsoft sites and found no
guidance on this matter. Any help you can offer is
appreciated.

If your Outlook is accessing a corporate Exchange server,
and they've configured Outlook Web Access (OWA), then
point your browser, not Outlook, to the external address
of the corporate web server which is hosting the OWA. We
use "http://mail.mycompany.com/exchange". If none of
that is set up, then you *MAY* be able to use POP3.
Exchange would have had to have been configured to allow
this though. Configure your email client (either Outlook
or Outlook Express) to retrieve email from the external
address of the mail server. Hope this helps some.

May I also ask a question on this subject? Once I have web access do I need
to use a different Outlook profile? Otherwise how does Outlook know to use
OWA, and will it not still be looking for the Exchange server ?

Many thanks

Colin
