G.I.O.
Hope someone can help me with this...
I have several W2K systems running various video related jobs...
authoring DVDs etc. As it now stands I have a monitor and keyboard for
each spread out around my small office and I must jump from one to the
other to work on each project. Great for my health but a waste of energy
otherwise.
Years back I tried using one of these combo switches to connect two
computers to one mouse and keyboard and I had probolems with keyboard
lockup, computer freeze. I just never worked as advertised.
Is there a way to connect these systems so that I can run them from one
setup and still be able to control what each is doing as if I still had
three keyboards, mice, etc? I'm wondering of using USB for the keyboard
and mouse (via switch) will make lockups less likely? Maybe there is
software for this application??
Any thoughts will be greatly appreciated.
