Hello

I have had to do a fresh install of windows. My old "my documents" is
sitting there but won't give me access under the new installation. Now I now
I have got round this in the past but I cannot remember how, its something
to do with giving permissions I think.

Can anyone help. I'm running windows xp home.

Thanks

Stephen

If you can still see your old user account and data, you did not do a
"fresh install" (clean install) of Windows. You did a repair install.
You need to take ownership of the data in your old user account.
