We have a Bytecc Landisk
(http://www.byteccusa.com/product/enclosure/ME-850.htm) NAS drive that been
using it for some time without any problem. From XP machines we still don't
have any problem but on a PC with Vista Ultimate and NSA clients installed
we can not access the drive any more. When entering the address in the
expolorer, it loads partial list of the the folders, and then it locks up.
What am I missing here? Do I need more clients installed other than NSA
client?

You have to contact the MFGR for a new version of Samba that's Vista
compatible, some have this fixed already.

I use a Bufallo Terastation NAS and had to apply the following patch to my
Vista PC. Mot sure if it's applicable to your case

----------------------------------------------------
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa]
"LmCompatibilityLevel"=dword:00000002

----------------------------------------------

For more on the Vista changes regarding NTLM ( and why ) there is a good
article at
