Hi all,

I have created a file called Contact for my telephone list

When I click on Microsoft Access
I get Telephone Data Base on the right on the task pane
I have to click this
and then another window open and I have to click Contact

Is there a way to be able to click on Contact right away ?

Thanks.

Yes you can create a shortcut directly to your form.

1. Open the database so you can see the file you want to open.

2. Right-click on it and choose "Create shortcut ..."

3. Use the Browse button to put the path to it on your desktop.

4. The object will open directly when you click on the shortcut.

Amy,

You can setup a macro to open up a 'start' form or specify
it in your database startup options using the
Tools/Startup/StartupForm. To create a macro for this, just
create a new macro, choose OpenForm, give it the name of the
appropriate form, (optional) next choose 'Maximize' if you
want it full screen and then name it autoexec and it will
always run when the database first opens.
