Hi

Is it possible to create a custom button and place it in Outlook, main level
menu.

From the click event of that button, open Access to process a particular
procedure. The procedure would reference the linked Inbox table from
outlook in Access. Is this possible?

TIA
Michelle

Hi Michael

Thanks so much for your information. I followed the link and unless I missed
it, that code was talking about linking the Outlook INBOX as a linked table
in Access.

I'm actually trying to do it the other way around. Access a MSAccess table
from within Outlook. Would you know if that is possible?

TIA
Michelle

The page that Michael suggested has information on that, too. ADO code
behind an Outlook form or in a COM add-in could connect to an Access
database and do things with it. The details, of course, depend on your exact
scenario.
