I recenlty added an old hard drive to my new computer. I wanted to access
documents from the old hard drive and move them to the new one. However,
when I try to access the my documents folder it will not let me. I get a
message saying that access is denied. The documents I want are stored in two
different user accounts from my old computer. Both accounts were set with
administer rights. I think that is the reason I can't access the files. Is
there any way to get around this problem? I have tried setting the old hard
drive as the main drive but the version of Windows is corrupt so it does not
work correctly. Any ideas or solutions would be appreciated.

Thanks

You need to take ownership of the files.
