hello,
i have a XP Pro installed in my mac.
my mac is in a workgroup in the netwrok.
i want to share one of my folder (resides in NTFS) with my friends who are using 2000 server.
i want to share my folder in such a way that one of my friend should have access to write in the folder while all other can only read from the folder.

To achieve the above i did the following:
1. disabled simple file sharing
2. created a user "sami", assigned password to that user and told the password to one of my firend.
3. assigned full control for sami account in both "sharing" and "security" tab in the folder property
4. have "Read" access to everyone.

now when my friend same wants to access the folder that i have given share in XP from 2000, he gets error saying:
"Access is denied"

i tried to access using "map network drive" but didn't help that aswell.

can somebody pls let me know what did i do wrong

thanks
