I have been using a floppy disc instead of a cd due to some of the computers
I used not having a cd-rom. I have printed off from this disc successfully
before but now its saying 'disc not formatted' when I try to open it, what am
I doing wrong?! I have windows xp have had no trouble before this.

Floppy disks are prone to corruption and XP is very unforgiving in that
regard. If you are not having this problem on a different system, I would
suggest, using that system, assuming it has a CD burner, to copy the files
from the floppy to CD in order that you have some form of separate media
storage for them in order to allow for this eventuality. I recognize, this
doesn't help on the computer on which you are having the issue but if it has
a CD-ROM drive, then at least it would be able to read the CD.
