I've a network configuration(in a domain) with a Win 2000 Server(SP3) and
several machines with a mix os Windows 98, Windows 2000 PRO(SP3) and XP PRO.
The machines with W98 and W2K works fine with the W2k Server. But the new
machines with the XP PRO(SP1), after login and for a couple of hours works
fine, that is they can work with all the files(add, replace, delete). After a
while the server doesn't allow to change or delete files, and makes a copy of
the file. The user is forced to reboot the machine if he wants to work with
the original files. Why is these happening on with the XP and not with the
others(W98 and W2k).
Thanks for all the help.
