Accessing E-Mail

When I log on to AOL I can receive and send e-mails. Why can't I do the same when I open up Outlook?
 
Outlook has to be configured to do so. You'll need to contact AOL for the
instructions on how to configure Outlook for their service. Also, you need
to differentiate with their tech support or instructions from their website
between Outlook, which is the e-mail client in MS Office Suite or Outlook
Express, the e-mail client that ships with Windows.
