Hi, I run XP with outlook 2000. I have a substantial address book, accessed
from outlook, but I would like to access it from my hot mail account. What do
I have to do to achieve this?

In your Live Hotmail account under its options for contacts, click on Import
and notice what file formats are accepted. Then export OL2000's contacts
using that file format and select that outputted file when you Import to
Hotmail.

You cannot. That type of interaction with Hotmail requires the Hotmail
Connector which works only with Outlook 2003 and later. Your best bet is to
see if Hotmail has an import feature and what formats it can import, if so,
then export your Outlook contacts to that form.
