accessing a footer

In Word 2000, I was able to access a footer by pressing Ctrl-V, H, and then
Alt-Tab. Now, with version 2003 can still access the header with Ctrl-V, H,
but I cannot access the footer with Alt-Tab. I have to use the mouse to
scroll down and then double-click in the footer box.

Is there an easier way to do this, with the keyboard?
