Recently upgraded to WinXP. My Access2000 continually produced errors about writing to an unusable memory location. After much searching I found the XP compatibility settings. Changing to run Access2000 under "Windows98" solved the memory errors, but now the any of the Access or AccessBasic help search only returns one letter. Example, search for "Controls" only returns "C" and no corresponding help articles. I can get no help from the HELP system. Any ideas

The Access Help system needs a lot of help ... <grin> ... it's widely
regarded as a real POS (and I don't mean Point Of Sale). Try reinstalling
Access (but don't do a full install, only install the Help Files) and see if
that works.
