Hi,
i have an access 97 database in a folder and many users have access to it. i have set the permissions for the folder depending on the windows username and password. some users have full access and others read-only.
when a full access user is using the database and a read only user wants to use it, the read only user gets an error:
" could'nt use access.mdb file already in use"
but if another user having full access uses the database at the same time he can open it without any problem.
is there a way to fix this?
