Hi There,

I have W2k terminal Server and Office 2000 SP3.

When an administrator opens an access database, if another
user tries to open a different access db they get "COuld
not use 'admin'; file already in use".
If the admin user closes his access DB, the normal user
can then open theirs. THen the admin user goes back in
his and all is fine.
What could this be ?

Verify that user's have read/write permissions where the
file is located.
