If I have Access 2000 at home and want to work on it at
home and have Access via Office XP at home, can I take it
home and bring it back to the office where it still works
in Access 2000? Also, is Access in Office XP..Access 2003?

XP and 2000 have the same file format so XP will run 2000 and XP versions.
If you keep your db in 2000 then you can use it on 2000 , xp or 2003

As Sean indicates elsewhere in this thread, Access 2002 uses the same format
as Access 2000 by default. There is a new Access 2002 format, but Access
2002 will not convert Access 2000 format databases to the new format unless
you specifically choose to do so. As long as you don't do that, and don't
use any new features in Access 2002 that were not supported in Access 2000,
you can use the same database in both versions of Access.

The version of Access in Office XP is Access 2002, not Access 2003. Access
2003 is included in (some editions of) the recently released Office 2003.
