Hi - we are in the process of testing out Access XP with
Windows XP as we will be deploying Windows XP in the near
future. We have several Access XP databases that run
with no issue in Windows 2000 but the same databases are
doing strange things in Windows XP. For instance, when a
certain database is opened on Windows XP, all the reports
disappear. If we click on Forms, then back on reports,
all the reports reappear.
Has anyone seen this happen before? If so, what can we do
to correct it?

Thank you!

I'm having the same thing happen occasionally, in all the database
windows: a bit disconcerting to edit a query, save and close it, and
see no queries in the window at all!

I don't know of a solution but I'd be very interested in hearing one!
It *seems* to be an innocuous bug, but it's certainly an annoying one!

John - what brand and model computer are you using and do
you know what kind of video card you have?
Thanks for your help.

<g> I assembled it myself. AMD Duron chip, ECS motherboard, generic
video card (I'd have to take off the cover to find out what)... let's
see... S3 ViRGE says the hardware monitor.

Do you have some indication that the *HARDWARE* can cause this? or is
it the video driver? Even that would be odd in the extreme, but
computers are odd, no question!

I've seen this happen before too. It's always come back but it is a little
scary. I'll be watching in case someone comes up with a good explanation or
fix.

I had a wierd problem with the relationships window. Turns out it was
due to the Windows XP theme I think. I'd modify a table and then
return to the relationships window but I was unable to do anything in
the relationships window.

Just a wild *ssed guess.

I've also had all objects disappear from the database windows - I'll
save a Form and the Forms window will be empty.

So far I've been able to just switch to a different window on the
database tab and back, and the vanished objects will reappear - but it
still makes me nervous!
