Hi,
I have an Access XP ADP connected to SQL Server 2000 with a header/detail
form which is made up of the main form connected to the header table and a
linked sub-form connected to the detail table. When trying to add a new
header record I get the message :
Write Conflict - The record has been changed by another user since you
started editing it (along with a choice of 3 buttons to press).
The new record is saved ok so I just want to get rid of the annoying
message.
The primary key of the header table is an identity field and I see that this
scenario is recognised on the Knowledge Base as a bug, but was supposedly
fixed in Office XP SP1. However I am using Office XP SP2 and the bug still
persists.
I am hoping this is a common problem and smomebody has the answer?
Any help appreciated,
Jonathan
